BACOLOD City – The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) has assigned some of its key officials to new positions.
The reshuffling took effect on June 2, according to Nocppo director Senior Superintendent Rodolfo Castil Jr.
Superintendent Cresenciano Cordero was relieved as La Carlota City police station head and assigned to the Nocppo headquarters.
Chief Inspector Romeo Vargas from the 1st Negros Occidental Provincial Mobile Force Company (NOPMFC) replaced Cordero.
Senior Inspector Jaynick Bermudez, head of the Candoni police station, was assigned at the 2nd NOPMFC. Senior Inspector Celjun Nemenio replaced him.
Superintendent Jonel Guadalupe, chief of Nocppo’s Intelligence Unit, replaced Superintendent Rhea Santos as officer-in-charge of the Kabankalan City police station.
Santos, on the other hand, was assigned as head of Nocppo’s Project Performance and Outcome Monitoring Unit.
Chief Inspector Benedict Poblete, deputy chief of Nocppo’s Intelligence Unit, was now the unit’s officer-in-charge.
Meanwhile, some former top police station officials returned to their posts after two years of schooling.
They were Senior Inspector Joy Ellaga, deputy chief of the Victorias City police station; Senior Inspector Bonifacio Aralas, deputy chief of the La Carlota City police station; Inspector Raymund Franco, deputy chief of the Himamaylan City police station; and Inspector Reynaldo Severino, deputy chief of the Kabankalan City police station.
On the other hand, effective June 11, Chief Inspector Joery Puerto will be assigned as officer-in-charge of the Toboso police station.
He will replace Senior Inspector Edgar Tonico, who will be assigned at the Nocppo headquarters./PN
