
ILOILO City – Fifty-two plastic packs of suspected shabu were seized in separate police operations on Wednesday.
Two drug-pushing suspects were arrested: Eljhon Arbolado, 31, of Barangay San Isidro, Jaro district and Jessie Benza.
Arbolado sold to a police poseur buyer two sachets of suspected shabu for P2,200 at around 10:30 p.m., a report from the Molo police station stated.
Officers further seized P1,100 cash in the pocket of his pants and 34 plastic packs of the same substance in his room.

The Molo police station, the Police Regional Office 6’s Regional Drug Enforcement Unit and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 6 staged the operation.
Arbolado was detained at the Molo police station.
Earlier in the day RDEU and PDEA operatives and Police Station 1 officers arrested Benza on Muelle Loney Street, City Proper.
They seized from Benza 16 plastic packs of suspected shabu at around 1:30 p.m.
Authorities estimated the value of the seized substance at P160,000, stated another police report.
