ILOILO City – Aside from lawn tennis, skateboarding and e-sports, the Iloilo City Sports Development Division have also scheduled table tennis and taekwondo events for the Ilonggos for the upcoming city’s 82nd Charter Day celebration.
The table tennis tournament, which will be divided into eight events, are slated from Aug. 17 to 18 and Aug. 24 to 25 at the fourth floor of Gaisano City mall in La Paz district.
The eight events are the following:
* beginners mixed 12 years old and below
* boys 12 years old and below
* girls 12 years old and below
* boys 17 years old and below
* girls 17 years old and below
* mixed 39 years old and below
* mixed 40 years old and above
* mixed 60 years old and above

The taekwondo event, on the other hand, is on Aug. 24 at the Gaisano Capital Diversion Road.
The event is sanctioned by the Philippine Taekwondo
Association (PTA).
