KALIBO, Aklan – A lending collector was arrested for alleged sexual abuse on a 2-year-old kid here.
Police only identified the suspect as a certain Ian James, 30, of Dipolog, Zamboanga. He was nabbed on Friday.
According to police investigators, the parents noticed that the kid was “abnormally” laid-back and recently they saw bruises on her legs.
The parents then brought the child to a physician who told them of the possible molestation.
Ian James was close to the kid’s family as he temporarily resided at their house as a boarder, police said.
The suspect was detained in the Kalibo municipal police station, facing charges.(With a report from Malbert Dalida/RadyotodoAklan/PN)
