BACOLOD City – Three persons were nabbed in a sting operation in Barangay 14, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
Six sachets of suspected shabu valued around P5,000 were seized from 29-year-old Joseph Sapilan, 44-year-old John Hemoso Mercado and 36-year-old Lorybee Mijares, a police report showed.
Sapilan, Mercado and Mijares were arrested after they sold suspected illegal drugs to an undercover cop for P400 around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the report added.
Aside from suspected shabu, P420 cash and two cellphones were recovered from them, police said.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the Victorias City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
