The inspection results showed that the road in Pandan is at 54% completion, while the one in San Jose is at 69% as of Jan. 2020.

DILG Regional Quality Assurance Engr. Job Vicente Arungayan encouraged the provincial government of Antique during the Project Exit Conference to not only focus on the completion of the project, but to ensure that the required technical specifications are followed by implementing mechanisms of quality assurance.

The findings and observations of the on-site inspection, interview, validation and assessment of the CMGP projects were discussed with the representatives of the contractors during the exit conference.

The DILG of this province also urged the contractors and the program implementers to fast track the project implementation and to submit documentation of rectification works.

The PEO was also advised to require the contractors to have full-time personnel that would conduct close monitoring and quality control of the project, as well as update necessary documents in compliance with the approved plans, specifications and contract provisions set by the implementing unit.

They were also required to submit a report on actions taken based on the required rectification, and with proper documentation.

The two road projects are expected to be finished by March of this year.(With a report from PIA/PN)
