SAN JOSE, Antique – A total of 34,968 member-beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilya Pilipino Program (4Ps) in this province received their February to March 2020 payout.
Pantawid Provincial Link Jeffrey Gabucay said recently that the cash grants released to beneficiaries from this province’s 18 municipalities starting on June 2 amounted to P122.196 million.
The payout, which was completed on June 11, covered the differential for the said period as stipulated under Republic Act No. 11310, or the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program Act signed by President Rodrigo Duterte last year.
Under the law, a household will receive not lesser than P750 per month for health and nutrition instead of the previous amount of P500.
“Senior high school children of Pantawid household beneficiaries who were previously given P500 per month are now being given P700 each (also),” said Gabucay.
Moreover, an additional P15,547,450 was released to beneficiaries representing their differentials from December 2019 until January 2020.(With a report from PNA/PN)
