ROXAS City – The Department of Health (DOH) granted Roxas City’s COVID-19 testing laboratory a license to operate.
Roxas City Mayor Ronnie Dadivas announced the good news through his official Facebook page.
“Nalipay ako nga ibalita sa inyo nga ang aton madugay na nga guinahulat nag-abot na! Ang DOH naghatag sang License to Operate para sa aton Roxas City Diagnostic and Laboratory Center. Buot silingon, nga ang Syudad sang Roxas pwede na makasugod sa pagpatigayon sang aton kaugalingon nga RT-PCR Testing,” Dadivas announced.
He said the tentative date of the blessing and inauguration of the laboratory is on October 20.
“Sa subong nga panahon, ini ang nagapanguna naton nga paglaum agud maamligan ang ikaayong-lawas kag matapna ang paghalit sang COVID-19 sa pumoluyo sang syudad sang Roxas,” the city mayor added.
Earlier, Dadivas also announced that the city’s COVID-19 testing laboratory has passed the proficiency test for SARS-CoV-2 detection for real-time PCR.
He said the laboratory obtained 100% proficiency test score based on the letter sent by the DOH’s Research Institute for Tropical Medicine Molecular Laboratory.
“Ang akon pagpanginbulahan sa tanan nga nagabug-os sa aton laboratoryo sa pagpanguna ni Dr. Lory Cahilog, Dr. Faye Besana, Dr. Josefa Gabuat-Hilado and Reiven John Bernales, RMT,” Dadivas expressed./PN
