BACOLOD City – The head of the Philippine National Police – Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental has been tagged a suspect in the alleged rape of the 12-year-old daughter of his live-in partner.
Forty-seven-year-old Police Staff Sergeant Willard Judis, originally from Barangay Balaring, Silay City, Negros Occidental, currently resides with his live-in partner in Barangay Tinampaan, Cadiz City, according to Police Lieutenant Colonel Rocky Desear, Capiz chief of police.
Based on a statement given by the girl’s aunt, the suspect went home around 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
He then allegedly proceeded to the minor’s room.
The suspect reportedly tried to cover the girls’ mouth while doing the supposed assault but the latter managed to kick him.
A police report showed that the girl shouted and her mother immediately entered the room and allegedly caught the suspect inside.
The suspect was later arrested by his fellow cops from the Cadiz City police station.
The girl’s biological father and mother are determined to file criminal charges against the suspect.
Aside from the rape charge, the suspect may also face additional charges after it was also learned that he has a legal wife in Silay City.
