P13.7-million ‘shabu’ seized

BACOLOD City – Two sisters were arrested in an antidrug operation of the Police Regional Office 6’s (PRO-6) Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU) in Barangay Lantad, Silay City, Negros Occidental yesterday morning.

Cops also seized two kilos of suspected shabu valued at P13.7 million.

The suspects were 30-year-old Angie Dumdumana and her 25-year-old sister Angielyn.

The Dumdumanas were residents of Barangay Lantad.

The arrest was effected at around 10:30 a.m.

A police poseur buyer initially bought from the suspects P30,000 worth of shabu.

The sisters were placed under surveillance prior to the buy-bust.

Both suspects face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
