BACOLOD City – The renovation of local government unit (LGU) pavilions at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Barangay Mansilingan here are being expedited ahead of the “MassKara sa Panaad” event from Oct. 10 to 16.
The pavilions are those of Moises Padilla, Isabela, E.B. Magalona, Cauayan, Sipalay City, and Victorias City, all in Negros Occidental province.
Other LGUs that also started clearing and construction of their pavilions are Manapla, Don Salvador Benedicto, Candoni, Calatrava, Himamaylan City, and Silay City.
San Carlos City started its renovation earlier and its booth is nearing completion.
Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson said the provincial government will give P100,000 in financial assistance to LGUs joining the “MassKara sa Panaad” – an initiative of the Association of Chief Executives (ACE) led by Victorias City mayor Javier Miguel Benitez./PN
