ILOILO – A driver was injured when his motorcycle crashed against a pickup in Barangay Gines, Zarraga town.
The 30-year-old John Basa, a resident of Barangay Sigangao, Zarraga, sustained injuries on the different parts of his body.
His back rider was, however, unharmed.
According to th e Zarraga police, Basa and his minor nephew were on their way home around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, when the pickup – driven by Mark Henry Caballero of San Rafael, Iloilo – they were following suddenly applied brake, resulting in the accident.
The motorcycle driver was recuperating at a hospital while the pickup driver was taken to the Zarraga Municipal Police Station./PN
