ILOILO – The No. 1 most wanted person of Guimbal town was arrested in Barangay Cabubugan.
Suspect Kent Matulac, 20, a student, and a resident of the above-mentioned place, was arrested for several rape and sexual assault charges around 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 08.
Joint operatives of the Guimbal Municipal Police Station (MPS), Philippine National Police-Anti-Kidnapping Group, Provincial Intelligence Unit, Regional Intelligence Unit, and 1st Iloilo Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted the “Manhunt Charlie”.
Matulac faces rape charges under criminal case numbers 3820, 3821, 3822, 3823, 3824, and 3825, all with no bail recommended, Guimbal police said.
The suspect also faces two counts of rape by sexual assault with P200,000 bail recommended for each count.
Matulac is also the No. 6 most wanted person at the provincial level.
