AKLAN – A mechanic wanted for sexual abuse was captured in Barangay Unidos, Nabas, Aklan at approximately 2:15 p.m. on Feb. 1.
Members of the Nabas Municipal Police Station (MPS), Regional Intelligence Unit 6, 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company-Aklan, and the Mambusao MPS in Capiz province carried out the arrest.
With bail amounting to P200,000 for his temporary liberty, wanted person “Andro,” 26, was served with a warrant of arrest for violations of Republic Act 7610 issued by Hon. Rommel Lacson of the Regional Trial Court 6, Branch 21 in Mambusao, Capiz, dated Jan. 30, 2024.
He is now under the custody of the Nabas police and will be turned over to the court concerned./PN
