ANTIQUE – One person died and another sustained injuries when the motorcycle they were riding was reportedly side-swiped by a minibus around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 18, on the national highway in Barangay Igbobon, Patnongon, Antique.
Dead on arrival at the Ramon Maza Hospital in Sibalom was motorcycle driver Angelica Giluani, 22, a resident of Barangay Vilvar, San Remigio, Antique, for a severe head injury.
Giluani was a graduating student at the University of Antique.
Back rider Yna Dea Gicaraya, 20, of Barangay Butuan, Anini-y, was treated for minor injuries.
The mini-bus driver was identified as Reynaldo Agustin, 54, of Barangay Pagsanga-an, Pavia, Iloilo.
According to the Patnongon Municipal Police Station, the two victims were from Laua-an town going to Sibalom./PN
