CAPIZ – A total of 1,534 applicants across the entire province of Capiz have successfully registered through the “Register Anywhere Program” by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) in its first week of implementation.
RAP commenced on Feb. 12 and will run until Sep. 30.
Atty. Will Arceño, provincial election supervisor, disclosed that Roxas City saw the highest number of registrants, with over 400 individuals completing the process.
Following closely behind are the municipalities of Tapaz with 155 registrants, Dumarao – 99, Dao – 97, Dumalag – 94, Pontevedra – 88, and Mambusao – 87.
President Roxas followed with 77 registrants, Pilar – 75, Sigma – 71, Jamindan – 55, Sapian – 54, Panay – 48, Panitan – 47, Maayon – 32, Ivisan – 28, and Cuartero – 27.
The aforementioned figures include individuals who have reactivated their voter status, transferred their registration, updated their voter information, and others.
