AKLAN – A 24-year-old construction worker was found dead inside his house in Sitio Dingli, Barangay Tina, Makato town.
Makato police said Vincent Capnao was found with multiple stab wounds by his relatives around 7 a.m. on Saturday, May 18.
Marte Capnao told the police that on Friday night, May 17, his brother had a drinking session with their cousins near his house.
At around 8 p.m., the victim left and allegedly went out to drink with someone else, M. Capnao added.
According to his relatives, the lifeless victim was found on the bed and blood scattered on the floor.
Makato police’s investigation revealed that the victim sustained five stab wounds on his chest and stomach. Wounds were also found on his arms and hands indicating he fought back against the suspects.
As of this writing, officers of the Makato police station were still investigating the crime to identify the suspects and the motive in the killing./PN
