AKLAN – Five individuals were brought to a hospital after they figured in a road accident in Barangay Cayangwan, Makato town.
Tricycle driver Kheizel Calunay and his four passengers, whose names were withheld by the Makato police, sustained injuries on the different parts of their bodies.
Investigation of the Makato police station revealed that the accident took place around 7:40 p.m. on Monday, May 27.
The victims were on their way to Barangay Poblacion, Makato from Barangay San Dimas, Malinao town when Calunay lost control of his tricycle.
Personnel of the Makato Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office rushed the victims to a nearby private hospital, police added./PN
