ILOILO City – Operatives of the La Paz police station arrested a high-value drug suspect in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Caingin, La Paz district.
The 27-year-old Jan Ralph “Rap-Rap” Dumago, a resident of the village, was caught around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, after he handed over a plastic sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur buyer for P4,000.
According to Police Captain Marlon C. Perez, officer-in-charge of La Paz police station, they confiscated a total of 19 plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing around 52 grams and valued at approximately P353,000.
Also recovered were P4,000 in buy-bust money and non-drug-related items.
Dumago was detained at the custodial facility of La Paz police station.
He will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
