BACOLOD City – Around 3,000 chickens were roasted when six armed men torched the poultry farm in Barangay Sagasa, Bago City, Negros Occidental around 3 a.m. on Monday, July 29.

According to poultry farm owner Leonid Dalisay, six armed men with their faces covered with bonnets entered their compound.

Dalisay said they first went to the kubo of his farm manager, threatening him with a gun and took him to lead them to his house.

Bago City police said the suspects also carted away Dalisay’s money worth P15,000.

The police added that before the incident, the victim received an extortion letter asking for money but he did not give in.

As of this writing, the Bago City Police Station was still investigating the incident to identify the suspects./PN
