METRO Pacific Iloilo Water (MPIW) will implement a temporary revised water supply schedule from October 1 to October 7, starting 8 a.m.
This is due to a regular preventive maintenance activity being conducted by one of its bulk water suppliers, Flowater Resources. The regular preventive maintenance is conducted every one to two years to ensure maximum plant operations, hence improving the efficiency of the water supply delivery.
The revised schedule will be implemented in specific areas within MPIW’s service areas.
Customers are also advised to visit the MPIW social media pages for the exact affected areas and the corresponding water supply schedule. MPIW highlighted that water supply scheduling will revert back to the original schedule once Flowater’s maintenance activity is completed.
MPIW urges affected customers to store sufficient water for their needs in preparation for the intermittent water supply period. Upon resumption of the water service, customers should let the water flow out for a few seconds until the water clears.
