PRINCESS Ella Olmilla, a graduate of Colegio San Agustin Bacolod with a degree in Accounting Information Systems, bested 14 other candidates to be crowned Miss Bacolod MassKara 2024.
She was crowned by outgoing queen Yvonne Catamco during the coronation night held at the University of St. La Salle coliseum in Bacolod City on October 19.

Ella, a passionate advocate for elderly care, stood out with her poise, especially when Mayor Albee Benitez asked her about preserving the city’s culture amid modernization. Her thoughtful response highlighted the importance of blending contemporary values with Bacolod’s rich traditions. As the new queen, she aims to advocate for mental health awareness and empower her community.
She also won awards including Best in Swimwear, Best in Evening Gown, and several special sponsor awards such as Miss Merzci, Miss Ysa Botanica, Miss MKU Construction, Miss MassKara Chicken, Miss SM Store Bacolod, Miss Bacolod JOR Travel & Tours, Miss Bingo Plus, and the Radiant Smile Award.
Completing the winners’ circle were Akeisha Nicole Nuarin as the first runner-up and Cindy Valencia as the second runner-up.
