AKLAN – A fatal vehicular accident claimed two lives early Sunday morning, December 8, on diversion road in Barangay Tigayon, Kalibo town in this province.
Kalibo police have yet to release the identities as the two fatalities as of this writing.
According to the police, the collision involved an elf truck and a refrigerated van which both sustained severe damages.
Initial reports indicated that the elf truck was traveling from Kalibo toward Banga while the van was crossing the diversion road from Nalook heading toward Lezo when the accident occurred.
The fatalities were occupants of both vehicles, police added.
The Kalibo Municipal Police Station is currently investigating the incident to determine the exact cause of the collision and to identify any potential traffic violations./PN
