ILOILO City – The highly anticipated food festival, a key highlight of Dinagyang Festival 2025, is set to run from January 23 to 26, transforming major streets into a bustling hub of culinary delights.
Organizers announced that Delgado, Valeria, Iznart, Bonifacio Drive, and other city streets will host over 500 kiosks featuring Iloilo’s signature dishes such as batchoy and pancit molo, alongside a wide array of Ilonggo specialties.
Former Iloilo City councilor Jay Treñas, chairman of the food festival, emphasized the event’s focus on inclusivity, noting that ambulant and street vendors will also have designated spaces. “We’ve incorporated lessons from previous festivals to create a smoother and more enjoyable experience for vendors and visitors alike,” Treñas said.
The food festival will also feature live performances by local artists, enriching the lively atmosphere with music and entertainment.
A staple of the Dinagyang, the food festival has consistently attracted large crowds of locals and tourists, celebrating Iloilo’s rich culinary heritage while enhancing the festive spirit of the city’s world-renowned event.
