ILOILO – Iloilo police arrested a most wanted person at the provincial level in Barangay Janipaan Olo, Cabatuan town around 5:40 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25.
The 53-year-old Romy Porras Pancrudo, a resident of the said barangay, was tagged as the No. 3 most wanted person in Iloilo Province.
Join operatives of the Cabatuan Municipal Police Station (MPS) under Police Captain Aileen Lacrite, and other police special action units caught the suspect through the strength of a warrant of arrest for violation of Section 3 of Presidential Decree 1866, as amended by Republic Act 9516, which pertains to illegal possession of explosives.
The said warrant or arrest was issued under Criminal Case Number 2023-1870 by Judge Gemalyn Faunillo Tarol.
The suspect is currently detained at the Cabatuan MPS.
The court recommended no bail bond for his temporary freedom./PN
