Capiz – The Iloilo Police Provincial Office’s intensified campaign against wanted persons resulted in the arrest of the province’s No. 2 fugitive for three counts of rape in Barangay Nabitas, Panay, Capiz around 3:30 p.m. on June 4.
The accused, identified as alias “Glen”, legal age, and a resident of Barangay Bania, Roxas City, was caught through the strength of a warrant of arrest by joint operatives of the Pototan Municipal Police Station (MPS), Panay MPS and the Regional Intelligence Unit 6.
He is now in police custody pending turnover to the court concerned. No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty.
“This accomplishment highlights our commitment in the campaign against wanted persons. Even they are hiding, we keep on pursuing to keep them answerable of the offense they’ve committed,” said Police Brigadier General Jack Wanky, director of the Police Regional Office 6./PN
