ANTIQUE – One of this province’s most wanted persons was arrested in a law enforcement operation conducted at around 11:37 p.m. on Monday, July 14, in Barangay Poblacion, Anini-y town.
Police said alias “Dodoy”, 35, single, a construction worker, and a resident of Barangay Nasuli-C, Anini-y, was listed as the No. 4 most wanted person in Antique and No. 1 at the municipal level.
Joint operatives of the Anini-y Municipal Police Station, Antique Police Provincial Office’s Intelligence Unit, 1st Antique Provincial Mobile Force Company, and Regional Intelligence Unit 6 carried out the operation through the strength of a warrant of arrest for the crime of murder (Article 248 of the Revised Penal Code) issued by Branch 12, 6th Judicial Region in San Jose, Antique, dated October 21, 2024.
The suspect is now under the custody of Anini-y police pending turnover to the issuing court for the continuation of judicial proceedings.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary freedom./PN
