AKLAN – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)-Aklan brought national ID (NID) services closer to the people through mobile registration conducted in various barangays of Boracay, Malay town from December 8 to 12.
The activity focused on enrolling individuals who are still unregistered in the National ID
System, particularly members and beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program
(4Ps). A total of 163 individuals were newly registered, while 175 registrants were issued
national ID in paper format.
In addition, PSA-Aklan distributed 250 National ID cards previously tagged as return to
senders (RTS) after unsuccessful delivery attempts by PhilPost.
This initiative forms part of PSA Aklan’s continuing efforts to make government services
more accessible to communities. As of November 30, 2025, 562,526 individuals in Aklan
have been registered in the National ID System, equivalent to 88.67 percent of the
province’s 2024 population.
Unregistered individuals are encouraged to visit the Fixed Registration Center (FRC) of
PSA Aklan for registration from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Saturday, excluding
holidays. For inquiries, visit the PSA-Aklan Facebook page or call (036) 262-3804./PN
