NEW YORK Knicks ended a four-game losing streak in dominant fashion, overwhelming the Brooklyn Nets 120–66, in the 2025-26 NBA Regular Season on Wednesday night (Thursday in the Philippines) in New York.
Jalen Brunson led New York with 20 points, while Landry Shamet added 18 after making all six of his three-point attempts as the Knicks captured its most lopsided victory in franchise history.
The Knicks, which built a lead as large as 59 points and finished with a 54-point margin, extended its dominance over Brooklyn by winning its 13th straight meeting in the rivalry.
The Knicks took control early, using a 14–0 run midway through the first quarter to take an 18–6 lead. They closed the period with another 14–3 spurt, capped by back-to-back three-pointers from Shamet, to go ahead 38–20. New York carried a 60–38 advantage into halftime.
Any remaining doubt was erased early in the fourth quarter when the Knicks opened with a 16–0 run, stretching their lead from 32 points to 48 at 104–56. They outscored Brooklyn 60–28 in the second half.
Michael Porter Jr. led the Nets with 12 points on 4-of-14 shooting as they dropped its eighth game in its last nine. Ziarie Williams came off the bench to contribute 11 markers.
Meanwhile, Donovan Mitchell scored 24 points, Evan Mobley added 14 points and 14 rebounds and Cleveland Cavaliers jumped out to 21-point first-quarter lead and held on to beat the Charlotte Hornets, 94-87.
Jaylon Tyson also made his presence felt with 14 points and Jarrett Allen added 13 points and nine rebounds for the Cavaliers, who held the Hornets to 32 points in the first half on 26% shooting.
Brandon Miller finished with 24 points and Kon Knueppel had 21 points and 11 rebounds to lead Charlotte, which made just 8 of 46 3-point attempts and was outrebounded 60-47.
