INDIANA Pacers snapped a four-game losing streak with a hard-fought 137-134 overtime victory over the New York Knicks in the 2025-26 NBA Regular Season on Tuesday night (Wednesday in the Philippines) at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Pascal Siakam led the Pacers with 30 points, while Andrew Nembhard added 24 points and 10 assists as the Pacers leaned on balanced scoring to secure the road win.
Indiana, playing without injured center Ivica Zubac due to an ankle issue, came in with just three road victories and the Eastern Conference’s lowest road winning percentage.
The Pacers seized control early in overtime, scoring the first nine points of the extra period. The Knicks mounted a late rally, scoring eight points in the final 24.3 seconds, but Indiana held on to seal the win.
Jalen Brunson paced New York with 40 points, eight assists and five rebounds, Josh Hart added 15 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists, while Karl-Anthony Towns finished with 22 points and 14 rebounds.
Despite the loss, the Knicks fell for only the second time in their last 11 games and suffered just their seventh defeat in 28 home contests. New York entered the game tied for the second-most home wins in the NBA with 21.
Over at Houston, Kevin Durant scored 26 points and Alperen Sengun added 22 to help the Rockets to a 102-95 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.
Jabari Smith Jr. had 13 points and 11 rebounds and Amen Thompson added 16 points for the Rockets in his return after sitting out of Sunday’s win over Oklahoma City Thunder because of an illness.
Houston led by six points at the start the fourth period and scored the first seven points of the quarter to extend its lead to 85-72 with 10 minutes remaining, setting the tone to the dominant win.
Meanwhile, Phoenix Suns survived a fourth quarter rally by Dallas Mavericks for a 120-111 victory. Dillon Brooks led the Suns with 24 points despite struggling from the three-point area./PN
