TEAM USA Stars emerged on top of the 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend following a 47-21 rout over Team USA Stripes in the finale game on Sunday night (Monday in the Philippines) at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
Facing a USA Stripes squad that came from consecutive games, USA Stars quickly jumped to a 12-1 start behind early conversions from Tyrese Maxey, Jalen Duren, and Devin Booker.
USA Stripes responded with back-to-back three-pointers from LeBron James and Jalen Brunson to inch closer but USA Stars got eight consecutive points from Anthony Edwards to widen the lead to 26-9.
It was all USA Stars since then with Booker, Jalen Johnson, Chet Holmgren, and Scottie Barnes putting on the finishing touches to rule the revised All-Star competition format.
Edwards finished with eight markers and was named All-Star MVP following his tournament-long brilliance for the much-younger USA Stars, which have won three of their four matches.
Maxey spearheaded USA Stars with nine points, Holmgren also concluded with eight markers, Barnes and Duren tallied six points apiece, and Johnson and Booker adding five each.
Donovan Mitchell paced USA Stripes with six points, James added five markers, while Jaylen Brown and Brunson tallied four and three points, respectively, in the defeat.
USA Stars opened the single-round robin competition with a 37-35 overtime victory against Team World courtesy of a game-winning three-pointer from Barnes.
USA Stripes then pulled off a 42-40 win over USA Stars via a buzzer-beating triple by De’Aarox Fox before they pulled off a 48-45 win on a go-ahead three-pointer by Kawhi Leonard./PN
