CAPIZ — The Capiz Provincial Government recognized exemplary public servants during the PRAISE Awards (Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence) held on June 22, 2026 at the Hall of Governors, Provincial Capitol.
The annual recognition program honored employees from various departments and offices who demonstrated outstanding dedication, work ethic, and commitment to public service excellence.
Awardees were cited for initiatives and contributions that helped improve government service delivery and positively impacted communities across the province.
In his keynote address, Gov. Fredernil H. Castro emphasized that excellence in public service is rooted in character and discipline.
“What propelled you to get this award was because you have good manners and right conduct,” Castro said.
He underscored the importance of Good Manners and Right Conduct (GMRC) in fostering respect, professionalism, and efficiency within the provincial government.
“As we recognize your achievements today, remember that GMRC will be the guiding light that continually inspires you to strive for excellence and aim for future awards,” the governor added.
Castro also encouraged employees to serve as role models of integrity and dedication, stressing that their performance directly contributes to improving public service for Capiznons.
The ceremony concluded with a collective commitment among employees to uphold the values of GMRC and continue delivering quality public service to the people of Capiz./PN
