TAIWANESE boy group F4 — consisting of Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, Ken Chu, and Vic Chou — sent fans’ hearts into a tizzy after reuniting at the 25th anniversary concert of the band Mayday.
Yan, Wu, Chu, and Chou made a special appearance at the Taiwanese band’s concert at the Taipei Dome on Saturday, July 12, where they performed “Meteor Rain.” The members looked dashing in their all-black suits and were met with cheers from the audience.
Chu took to his Instagram page hours later to share photos of their reunion.
“25/07/12,” he captioned his post, referring to the date of their performance.
This marks the first time the boy group performed together since the Spring Festival Gala in China in 2013.
F4, named after the fictional group of the same name, was formed in 2001 following the popularity of “Meteor Garden,” in which they starred in along with the late actress Barbie Hsu as Shancai.
The quartet was active for eight years until they disbanded in 2009. Sometime in 2007, the group’s name was changed to JVKV due to copyright issues. They released three albums, “Meteor Rain,” “Fantasy 4ever,” and “Waiting For You,” when they were still active in the entertainment industry as a group.
F4 will reunite for a solo concert in 2026 in celebration of their 25th anniversary through the music label B’in Music, as reported by Taiwan’s Mirror Media. Neither the members nor the agency confirmed nor denied the reunion, as of this writing. (Hannah Mallorca © Philippine Daily Inquirer)
