Bacolod ‘shabu peddlers’ nabbed

BACOLOD City — Two suspected shabu peddlers were arrested by anti-drug operatives in separate operations here. One of them yielded an unlicensed firearm.

Arrested were Aaron Young alias “Totong,” 37, of Purok Mabinuligon, Dahlia Street, Barangay Mansilingan, and Roger Tulmo Jr., 35, of Barangay 25.

Young was accosted after he handed to a poseur buyer two small sachets of suspected shabu in exchange for P300.

He also yielded two big elongated sachets of suspected shabu, P670 cash, a pair of scissors, a tooter, and an unlicensed .357-caliber pistol with seven live ammunition.

On the other hand, seized from Tulmo were four sachets of suspected shabu and the P500 marked money.

City Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operations Task Group personnel staged the operations on Wednesday evening.

Young and Tulmo were facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.

Young, however, was facing another charge for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
