BACOLOD City – The Commission on Elections (Comelec)–Bacolod City will conduct satellite registration activities in various malls and designated venues across the city from August 1 to 10.
Voter registration will be held at the following locations:
* SM City Bacolod, North Block (August 1, 2, 4, and 5)
* Metro Bacolod District Jail, Barangay Singcang-Airport, and the Office for Senior Citizens Affairs (August 3)
* MBDJ, Barangay Handumanan (August 4)
* Robinsons Place Bacolod (August 6 to 10)
Election Officer Atty. Kathrina Trinio-Caña said registration will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. She also noted that no registration will be conducted at the Comelec office on San Juan Street during this period due to the satellite activities.
The Comelec will not be accepting applications for transfer within the city or transfers from other cities or municipalities during the satellite registration.
Trinio-Caña emphasized that priority will be given to persons with disabilities (PWDs), senior citizens, and pregnant women. She also urged members of these sectors to update their registration so they can be accommodated in accessible polling places (APPs) located on the ground floor during election day.
The satellite registration is being conducted pursuant to Comelec Resolution No. 11132, dated April 21, 2025, which implements the calendar of activities under Resolution No. 10924 in connection with the December 1, 2025 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections./PN
