Bago laborer caught selling ‘drugs’

BACOLOD City – Police arrested a laborer in a drug buy-bust operation in Purok San Flower, Barangay Poblacion, Bago City, Negros Occidental. 

The 46-year-old Armel Gomez was a resident of the village.

He sold a sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer for P300, a police report showed.

Three more sachets of the prohibited substance were seized from Gomez around 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 11, the police added.

Detained in the lockup facility of the Bago City police station, the suspect faces a charge for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
