ILOILO City – He was found dead hanging from a tree in Barangay Bakhaw, Mandurriao district.
The 32-year-old Jeruz Sonza, a resident of the village, was believed to have committed suicide, a police report showed.
According to police investigation, Sonza’s lifeless body was discovered hanging from a coconut tree besides their house around 6 p.m. on Dec. 16.
Sonza was suffering from nervous breakdown, his family told the police.
Officers of the Mandurriao police station ruled out foul play in the incident./PN
