âILOILO City â Joel Valdez, 36, of Barangay Palaciawan, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo had been stabbed, a police report showed.
The suspect â the victimâs 63-year-old relative Carlito Valdez of the same village â was arrested and detained at the municipal police station.
Joel was taken to the Don Jose S. Monfort Medical Center Extension Hospital in the town. He sustained stab wounds on the left armpit and left leg.
The incident at around 6:10 p.m. on Feb. 4 was due to âdrunkenness and misunderstanding,â police said./PN
