Mayor Nielo “Bongbong” Tupas temporarily shut down the municipal hall on Tuesday for the building’s disinfection. He likewise closed the public market for two days beginning yesterday.
To recall, the municipal government halted the arrival of locally stranded individuals.
Tupas said the town’s designated quarantine facility has reached full capacity.
The indefinite suspension beginning Oct. 2, according to the mayor, will allow returnees currently in its quarantine center to complete their 14-day isolation and vacate these areas for the incoming returning residents./PN
