BACOLOD City – Already in the state of decomposition, a body was found in Barangay Bi-ao, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental.
The 33-year-old resident Rosito Merito, who sustained two gunshot wounds on the body, was found at a sugarcane plantation around 7:35 a.m. on Wednesday, a police report showed.
According to his brother Ronely, four suspects Jimmy Tavera, JR Tavera, Jojie Tavera and a certain “Ogak” chased Rosito around 12:15 p.m. on Monday. Rosito failed to return home since then.
Officers of the Binalbagan municipal police station conducted a manhunt operation against the suspects, who fled after the incident./PN
