ILOILO City – A 10-year-old boy drowned at a resort in Barangay Tubang, Maasin, Iloilo on Sunday, police said.
Julius Aniban of Barangay Amerang, Maasin was pronounced dead at the Ramon Tabiana Memorial Hospital.
Aniban and his family went swimming at Villa Teresita Resthauz Bamboo Resort and Adventure Park. The boy went missing at around 1 p.m.
The family sought help from the resort management in finding the boy.
They retrieved the boy’s lifeless body a few meters from where he was last seen, police said./PN
