
MALAY, Aklan – The British Embassy in Manila will provide trainings on paramedics and anti-terrorism to the Boracay Fire, Rescue and Volunteers Incorporated (BFRAV) here.
BFRAV officer Rod Bachiilier said the British Trauma Training Team has discussed the training proposal with them on Monday.
“The details of the training have yet to be finalized with our head Leonard Tirol. It is expected to last until February next year,” Bachiilier added.
“Trainings on trauma care were also discussed,” he said.
Different government agencies will also join the said activity including the Philippine Task Force and Joint Task Force Boracay, among others.
The BFRAV is a private volunteer and humanitarian group in the world-famous Boracay Island./PN
