FORMER child star Bugoy Cariño is set to return to acting via the movie “Sa Mga Sulok ng Pangarap.”
The ex-Hashtags member is the personal pick of the film’s director, Ronald Rafer.
“Magaling na artista si Bugoy at patunay diyan ang mga napanalunan niyang acting wards noon,” Rafer told the entertainment website Push during the movie’s story conference.
Joining Cariño in the upcoming film are former “Goin’ Bulilit” stars Belle Mariano and Izzy Canillo.
“Halatang kabado nga si Bugoy during our story conference. Pero sabi ko sa kanya, relax lang at hindi siya dapat kabahan. Bago matapos ang storycon, naging at ease na rin naman siya,” Rafer said.
“Lahat naman ng tao ay maaaring mapaliko ng landas sa buhay, pero may karapatan ang lahat na magbago, magsisi, at bumangong muli,” the director added.
Cariño was last seen in the iWant series “Spirits Reawaken.” (ABS-CBN News)
