Capiz native tops licensure exam for interior designers

CAPIZ – A proud son of Capiz has brought honor to the province after placing eighth in the July 2025 Licensure Examination for Interior Designers.

Marben East Clarito Bonifacio, a native of Pontevedra, earned an impressive rating of 83.45%, a testament to his dedication, talent, and perseverance.

Bonifacio was a graduate of the University of San Agustin (USA) in Iloilo City, an institution recognized for its strong focus on design and creativity. His achievement not only highlights his personal excellence but also serves as an inspiration to aspiring interior designers, particularly in Western Visayas.

The three-day licensure exam was held from July 1 to 3 in the National Capital Region, Cebu, and Davao, with 414 examinees nationwide. Bonifacio took the exam in Cebu City.

“This victory isn’t just mine. It is for everyone who believed in me and stood by me during my journey,” he said, recalling the overwhelming gratitude he felt after learning the results. “I thank God for turning my struggles and sacrifices into a meaningful achievement.”

Bonifacio shared that his preparation was marked by setbacks and moments of self-doubt. However, he remained grounded and motivated, drawing strength from his personal goals and the unwavering support of his family and friends.

To stay focused, he embraced a personal mantra: stay centered, believe in yourself, trust your abilities, and seek strength and guidance from God.

He also credited his mentors and the academic resources provided by the USA for equipping him with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed.

Bonifacio’s success stands as a proud milestone not only for the town of Pontevedra but also for the entire province of Capiz, affirming the capabilities and resilience of Capisnons in achieving excellence across various fields./PN
