CAPIZ – To ensure the effective delivery of social services, 1st District’s Cong. Emmanuel “Tawi” Billones has designated a focal person on this.
In a press conference on Monday, June 10, Billones said Paolo Roxas, the son of former Department of Interior and Local Government secretary Mar Roxas, will serve as a frontliner to cater residents from the 1st District and Roxas City who seek help from his office.
He added that through Roxas, residents are now assured of faster delivery of social services which include Medical Assistance for Indigent Patients (MAIP), Tulong Panghanap-buhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD), Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS), scholarship program, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) program, and Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP).
Roxas’ appointment was also supported by Roxas City’s Mayor Ronnie Dadivas, city councilors and barangay captains, added Billones./PN
