BACOLOD City – The No. 9 most wanted fugitive in Cebu province was arrested in Hacienda Pula, Barangay E. Lopez, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Arnold Aballe, 33, of Barangay Mahawak, Medellin, Cebu was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 2:15 a.m. yesterday.
Abelle – also Medellin’s No. 1 most wanted – was accused of murder (Criminal Case No. B-07807), a police report showed.
Judge Antonio D. Maregomen of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 61 in Bogo City, Cebu ordered Abelle’s arrest.
During his arrest, police recovered one MK4 .45-caliber firearm with magazine, seven live bullets and one fragmentation grenade.
The suspect was temporarily held at the Silay City police station and set to be transferred to Medellin, Cebu.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
