ILOILO City – His fellow waiter punched him, the 42-year-old Rolando San Luis reported to the police.
San Luis, a resident of Barangay Malusgod, Pototan, Iloilo, worked at Wildkatz KTV Bar on Muelle Loney Street, City Proper.
He claimed that he just cautioned Edgar Testigo, 44, of Barangay Atabayan, Tigbauan, Iloilo about something at around 10 p.m. on April 20.
An altercation erupted between them as a result. An irked Testigo then punched San Luis on the lips, the latter claimed.
The police report from which San Luis’ statements were based did not state what the complainant cautioned his alleged attacker about.
San Luis further said he fell on the concrete floor while their fellow waiters and their security guard on duty pacified Testigo.
Testigo cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.
Police referred San Luis to the West Visayas State University Medical Center in Jaro district and the case to the barangay lupon./PN
