BACOLOD City – A construction worker in Talisay City, Negros Occidental was hospitalized after his coworker struck him with a hammer on the head.
Benjamin Aragon, 26, of Barangay Pandanun, Mabinay, Negros Oriental was rushed to the Teresita L. Jalandoni Provincial Hospital.
Police arrested his attacker, Victor Sanopao, 26, of Barangay Poblacion, Guilhungan City, Negros Oriental.
Sanopao hit Aragon on the head three times around 4 p.m. on Sunday in their quarters, investigation showed.
Before that, the two had a drinking binge outside the Carlos Hilado Memorial State College in Barangay Zone 1, Talisay City./PN
