BACOLOD City – A construction worker facing two counts of rape was arrested in Barangay Cubay, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.
The 51-year-old resident Joel Corsiga was caught around 7:45 a.m. on Oct. 4, a police report showed.
Corsiga’s apprehension was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant Judge Cyclamen Jison Fernandez of the Regional Trial Court Branch 63 dated Sept. 18, 2020.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the La Carlota police station.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
