BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Zone 3, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Construction worker Angelo Martinez was a resident of the village, police said.
Confiscated form his possession were nine sachets of the prohibited substance valued at around P23,800, cash which amounted to P1,470, a coin purse, and P500 marked money.
Policemen of Talisay City staged the entrapment operation around 12:35 p.m. on Nov. 8.
The suspect was detained and charged with violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
